Ryan got a job offer with Environment Canada, so we packed the house and moved up to Terrace BC. We decided to drive up here, which took us 4 days, and it wasn't the easiest road trip (to say the least). But it was a fun road trip none the less, such beautiful scenery. Once we got here we realized that the house we took "sight unseen" was horrible! So we lived in a Motel room for 2 weeks and then found another place. They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...we were feeling pretty strong at that point!
This was our old view from our place in Ukee, it was pretty hard to say good-bye. The good-bye's to our friends were even harder, but we knew we would go back for many visits.
"Bye Ukee, we miss you"
Stopping for a little lunch (for Hailey) at Skihist Provincial Park. The view across the road from here was beautiful, unfortunately the pictures didn't' turn out that well. You will have to use your imagination.
In the good old Subaru we had the most random things packed. We had plants, a vacuum, some household cleaners, our suitcases, and of course a lot of baby stuff. I am surprised that we fit it all in there.
By the time we made it to our Hotel we were all pretty sleepy.
This picture was taken in our "home away from home" Motel that we stayed at for a few weeks during our finding a house period. I think we may have surprised her with the flash :)
